The human brain is an awesome machine. It can generate rapid connections between stored information in order to build this information into ideas. What’s more, in just a short space of time the brain can not only produce ideas but evaluate them too. Just think what could be achieved as the human illustrator sets to work on your creative business project.

Phrases such as “I’ve found that this approach may work…’, ‘Here’s a suggestion that could make an impact in this situation…’ and ‘Based on what you have told me, you might like to try this’ are often found to come from the lips of the human illustrator as they dig deeper into their creative memory bank.

And what about the machine? It might give you suggestions however it will struggle to make connections and evaluate them as effectively as the human brain.

At Inky Thinking we’re proud of our ability to generate creative ideas quickly. We recently sprang into action to help our client create a pitch for a high-profile British branded airline client. It was only a matter of days between brief and pitch, yet we created a series of detailed images designed to engage the target audience and enable our client to share detailed and compelling reasons why they were the partner of choice.

In Part 3 we will look at the human ability to understand nuances and subtleties in communication, another reason why human illustrators excel over AI.
