Our client:

Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity committed solely to predicting and preventing breast cancer. The organisation’s mission is to make breast cancer a preventable disease for future generations by funding ground-breaking research into the prediction and prevention of the disease.

What our client needed:

The team at Prevent Breast Cancer hosted a pivotal roundtable meeting to address health inequalities in Greater Manchester. Bringing together vital stakeholders, including patients, researchers and healthcare professionals, to collaboratively explore and understand the complex landscape of health disparities in our local community and the ongoing efforts to tackle them.

Given the complexity of the topic and stakeholder perspectives, the client needed an engaging and succinct visual summary to be used as a communication tool with participants following the event, and to be used in the organisation’s impact report.

How we worked with the client:

Tom Russell of Inky Thinking and Catherine Hennessy of Ceen Facilitation designed and facilitated the roundtable event, ensuring that desired outcomes were met, participants fully engaged in the conversation process, and key information captured.

Following the event, the client team at Prevent Breast Cancer synthesised the data from the event and these headlines were provided to Felipe at Inky Thinking. Felipe set to work creating the overall digital image, with a particular focus on ensuring the cultural diversity of Greater Manchester was reflected in the image.

The result:

An engaging, one-page digital graphic summarising key discussion themes and outlining resulting actions and next steps. The graphic was used in the Prevent Breast Cancer Impact Report 2025, and the team at Prevent Breast Cancer have engaged Inky Thinking again to capture subsequent roundtable events.

Brought the key themes of the roundtable to life vibrantly, and an excellent asset for our 2025 Impact Report.”
